Course of the Year Application

Looking for a fantastic way to differentiate your golf course from the masses? Why not throw your hat in the ring to be the 2016 NEGCOA Golf Course of the Year! Awarded by your peers, this may be the ultimate honor for a golf course owner/operator.

Just imagine how many ways you could promote this designation to your target market. The opportunities are endless! Feature it on your website, telephone answering system, print and radio ads, scorecards, and more! Not to mention, generate free publicity with the local press!

The Course of the Year award recognizes member facilities that epitomize exceptional course quality and management, while making important contributions to their communities and the game. The criteria for the award include the following:

1. Exceptional Quality of the Course
2. Exceptional Quality of Ownership and Management
3. Outstanding Contribution to your Community
4. Significant Contributions to the Game

The winner will represent New England at the 2016 NGCOA Annual Conference in San Diego (Feb 8-11, 2016) where they will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony. They will also be automatically nominated as a finalist for the NGCOA Course of the Year Award.

Entry deadline has been extended. All entries must be received by Friday, August 21. The winner must be a current NEGCOA member. Not a member? Become one today!

In effort to reduce our carbon footprint, applications and course photos must be submitted electronically to Elaine Gebhardt at [email protected]. Applications may be submitted in a Word or PDF document. Photos are to be in a high-resolution, .jpg format. The winner will be notified in mid-October.
